Govt of India Blocks 14 Messaging Apps: The central government has blocked 14 mobile messaging apps. According to news agency ANI, these apps were being used by terrorists to receive messages from Pakistan and spread it among the people.

The central government has taken this step on the recommendation of defense forces, intelligence and investigative agencies. It is said that these apps include SafeSwiss, Cripwiser, Vikerme, Enigma, Mediafire, Beechat, Briar, Conion, Nandbox, IMO, Second Line, Element, Threema, Jangi etc.
