12th Fail On OTT: Vikrant Massey starrer ’12th Fail’ was released in theaters on October 27, 2023. The audience and critics gave a lot of love to the film.
12th Fail was made on a budget of Rs 20 crore and collected Rs 62 crore (US$7.8 million) at the box office. The film has many great actors including Medha Shankar, Ananth V Joshi, Anshuman Pushkar and Priyanshu Chatterjee.
After a successful run in theaters and capturing the hearts of the audience, the film is now ready for OTT release. If reports are to be believed, ’12th Fail’ may be available on ZEE5. However, the official release date has not been confirmed yet.
Industry insiders suggest that the film is expected to release on the OTT platform around January 2024. ’12th Fail’ directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra has been given the title of sleeper hit of the year.
It narrates the real-life journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame poverty to achieve the rank of Indian Police Service officer.
The film tells the story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, a young man who is very poor but dreams of becoming a police officer. To achieve his goal, he decided to study for the UPSC exam in New Delhi. He has to go through many struggles to continue his studies as well as to earn a living in the city.
In an interview, Vikrant Massey said, “I have really reinvented myself and I remember very well that I reinvented myself as an actor in 2017, when I did the film with Konkana Sen Sharma. It was from ‘Death in the Gunj’. I remember it very deeply.
On the work front, Vikrant Massey has many promising projects including ‘Yaar Jigri’, ‘Sector 36’ and ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’. Vikrant along with his wife Sheetal recently celebrated this joyous occasion with a heart-touching baby shower party, which shows the anticipation of their happiness to come.
