A 12-year-old teenager was murdered by slitting his throat with a knife in a dispute over playing colors in Diara area of Ganga in front of Kebsantpur village in Dighwara police station area of Saran district of Bihar. In this regard, the police took immediate action and detained a teenager, whose age is said to be 12 years. Along with this, the police is interrogating more than half a dozen people. After the incident, there is tension among the villagers in the village, after which the police is camping in the village. There is deep resentment among a particular section of people regarding this incident. The deceased teenager has been identified as Sunny Kumar, 12-year-old son of Jaiprakash Manjhi, resident of Basatpur village of Dighwara police station area.
Controversy occurred while playing with colors
According to the information received, some children of his own village had taken Sunny to Diara to play colors, where there was some dispute over children playing colors, the dispute escalated and Sunny was murdered by slitting his throat. The villagers became very angry after hearing about his brutal murder with a knife. On receiving information about the incident, Police Station Head Ravi Shankar Kumar reached the spot with his team and pacified the people and brought the situation under control.
Tension in the village, police is setting up camp
Police reached the spot and took the teenager to CHC for treatment where doctors declared him dead.
In this regard, the police have detained several people including a teenager for questioning. After this murder, there is tension among the villagers in the village and the police is camping at the spot. After the incident, the enthusiasm of Holi faded in the said village and people were seen saddened by the murder of the teenager. The topic of discussion on everyone’s lips was the brutal murder of the teenager.
