Confirming the death, Civil Surgeon Dr. KN Tiwari said that the Covid infected girl had come home after attending a program organized in Sherghati. When the girl’s health started deteriorating, the family admitted her to Narayana Medical College. During the treatment there, RTPCR test was done and she was found corona infected. The civil surgeon told that the girl already had lung infection and after the infection was confirmed, her family members and people around the village were also tested for corona, but no one’s report came corona positive.
