10 copycats caught during constable recruitment exam in Nawada, 3 arrested for copying in ‘Munnabhai’ style

Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2023 was conducted in two shifts on Sunday. During this period, 10 candidates from different centers of Nawada were arrested for cheating. Of these, three candidates have been arrested for cheating through Bluetooth. At the same time, a parent was arrested with a mobile phone near the centre.

Pushpendra Kumar from Modern Institute Higher Secondary Center and Kamlesh Kumar from Saint Joseph School have been caught on charges of cheating. All the accused have been sent to the city police station for legal action. During this time, a parent was also arrested with the mobile phone. Sadar SDO Akhilesh Kumar caught the candidates who committed irregularities during the examination.

Meanwhile, in the second shift, DM Ashutosh Kumar Verma and Superintendent of Police Ambrish Rahul conducted surprise inspection of Kanhai Inter School and KLS College. In the second shift, two examinees, Shailesh Kumar, Jushi Kumari from KLS College and four Shravan Kumar, Ravi Roshan Kumar, Julie Kumari and Arvind Kumar from DPS School, were caught illegally using gadgets. These candidates were sent to the city police station for action.

22 centers were made for the examination

SDO Akhilesh Kumar said that Section 144 was imposed on all the centres. If any candidate is caught with electronic items in the examination hall, there is a provision to ban him for five years.

During this period, the police have recovered four electronic device sets, three walkie talkies, two walkie talkie chargers, five mobiles, a Scorpio vehicle and a motorcycle.

Whereas Rahul Kumar, son of Rajkishore Yadav, resident of Purbasarai Brahmasthan of Purbasarai OP area, was arrested from Upendra Training Academy examination center with an electronic device set. On his information, when the police conducted a raid outside the examination center to arrest his associates, he managed to escape by dodging all the police. It is noteworthy that all the candidates had electronic devices in their upper shirt pockets.
